I’m a fantasy and romance author, writing stories for the girls who spent childhood irrationally angry over how fast the princess fell in love with Prince Charming. I love a reluctant, awkward heroine and messy, too-human experiences lived out on the page. Because, let’s be frank, I cannot read another book about a female assassin with perfect hair. 

I earned my first bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. I’m a former nonprofit communications professional and copywriter with bylines published in The Writer magazine and numerous community newspapers.

Today, I write fiction, not facts.

I live in small-town Oregon with my husband, two tenacious corgis, and a keyboard-sitting kitten whom I blame for so many typos. My debut romantic fantasy novel, With Balm and Blade, is out on query.
